Membership Committee

Sending renewal notices when memberships are up for renewal.
Desired qualities in an applicant:
Friendly & outgoing personality, computer proficiency, including e-mails, MS Excel (Google equivalent).
Events Committee

Primary Responsibilities

Planning and scheduling events

Working with marketing committee to ensure events get promoted.

Creating events on FIDO Facebook page

Ensuring each event has at least 1 event captain.
Desired qualities:

Punctual & Reliable, detail oriented, computer skills including Facebook, e-mail, basic photo editing.
Sponsorship Committee

Create sponsorship packages

Approach businesses about sponsorship

Ensuring sponsors are receiving value & are thanked via thank you card

Seek renewal when sponsorship term expires

Farmers Market Volunteers
Volunteers are needed throughout the 2014 Dubuque Farmer's Market summer season!
Every Saturday, from 8am to noon, FIDO will have a booth at the market promoting responsible dog ownership through the 'FIDO Market Manners' Program!
